Making a Difference: American veterans are making hand-crafted toys for kids half a world away, many of whom have never had a toy in their lives. NBC's Richard Engel reports. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/vp/31929478#

05-26-08 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers "TFGK Certificate of Appreciation."

11-09-2008 Jerry, one of our smilemakers, brought 275 little wooden ambulances, made by Dutch to "Project Cure," a Littleton, CO based charity.  Project Cure sends medical equipment and supplies to developing countries and will include these toys with their shipments.

Over 3000 toys were sent to villages in the Philippines this fall thanks to Carl at Pentagon Cargo. Carl says churches there can use as many wooden cars as we can make so we will definitely be sending more in 2009!

Marcia, another toy maker, has a sister-in-law that heads up a church group from Canada; they are taking 900 wooden cars to Nicaragua, the first country to receive toys from TFGK. The toys left Denver this past weekend.

September 2009 The Lakewood Home Depot donated and built a shed for two of our more prolific Toy Builders, Bill & Barb Cramer who also build toys in Phoenix during the winter months.
